Sollux trembled holding Eridan close to him in attempts to keep him warm. In no time Fef busted through the door calling Sollux’s name. “Sollux? What’s wrong? Why did you sound so worried on the phone?” She asked, walking down the hall and freezing at the sight just within Eridan’s block. “S-Sollux…?” She asked, frozen in the doorway.
Sollux was sobbing mumbling pleading words for the seadweller to wake up and that he was sorry. Her eyes quickly flooded with tears as she rushed over. “—Eridan you idiot!” She sobbed, falling to her knees beside the two of them. She trembled. “Th-This is all my fault.”
“Fef… don’t 2ay that. II wa2 the one that 2hould have been here two keep an eye on him…”
“NO!” She shouted, looking at him and god did she look guilty.
“I-I told him a few hours ago th-that he was a bad moirail because I was upset and he wasn’t helping at all! B-but when I told him I didn’t want to be his moirail anymore… I didn’t think he was so far on the edge!” She sobbed, holding her head in her hands.
Sollux looked down as if pondering if he should scold her for being so damn stupid. He took a deep breath, focusing his attention on Eridan, gently stroking his pale cheeks. “w-what are we gonna do…?” He asked.
Feferi shrugged looking at him, slowly drying some of her tears. “I-I dunno..”
Sollux gently bit his lip, scooping Eridan into his arms. “Follow me.” He ordered as he marched out of the hive.
Fef quickly stood running after him. “Wh-where are you going to take him!?”
“Two Gamzee. He’2 fucked iin the head but hii2 ‘ma2iia2’ mu2t have 2ome 2ort of healing rutual2!”
“that’s crazy talk Sollux!”
“Fef, II don’t care iif II have two 2ell my 2oul two bring ED back. II’m goiing two fuckiing do iit.” He snapped back at her, keeping his eyes forward as Gamzee’s hive came to view. Inside He was sort of praying that Gamzee’s dancestor Kurloz would be there- He seemed to know more about what he was doing with these sort of things. Well… Sollux hoped he would.
Fef rushed forward quickly knocking on the door to call to Gamzee. “GAMS—EA! W—E N—E—ED YOUR K—ELP!”
A few moments later the door opened to reveal a tall purple blooded troll- Not Gamzee though. Kurloz. Thank Gog! “Kurloz! Look II know you’re probably bu2y wiith Gamzee but plea2e! we need your-“
Kurloz cut him off with the sudden wave of his hand and purple flashes of his chuckle voodoo’s. “COME INSIDE MY BROTHERS AND SISTER.” He called deeply, turning on heal and quickly walking into the hive, Feferi and Sollux following behind quickly.
Kurloz rushed through the main room gesturing Sollux to put Eridan on the couch while he rounded up the thing’s he’d need.
“Wh-What are you goiing two do?” Sollux asked nervously, looking at the various tools Kurloz had returned with.
“THE ONLY WAY TO HELP THIS MOTHERFUCKER IS TO AWAKEN HIS MIND.”
Okay… what the fuck does that mean!?
Sollux was trembling at this point, watching Kurloz kneel down beside him and begin stitching his wrists closed again. Fef closed her eyes, tightly gripping Sollux’s trembling hand. Kurloz gently rested on of his hands onto Eridan’s chest able to hear a very slow and shallow beat. He lost a lot of blood already and was on the edge of life now. The heartbeat had been so shallow that even Kurloz’s finely tuned ears almost couldn’t hear it. He quickly stood gesturing the two younger trolls to step out and they quickly did so. Kurloz stood before Eridan with his hands tightened together almost as if he were praying and in a quick second lashing out, slamming a fist into Eridan’s chest causing his eyes to shoot open from his comatose state. He quickly captured his gaze in his chuckle voodoo’s, sending a hypnosis into his mind that would erase his memories of killing himself, and that he- instead of having an argument with Feferi had come to hang out with Gamzee and ended up eating Soper, eventually passing out on the couch.
Not long later he opened the door which Sollux and Feferi remained behind, giving them a bright stitched smile as he stepped to the side to reveal Eridan sat up rubbing his head. “Oww…” He mumbled.
Sollux was the first one forward, running over to tightly hug him. “ERIIDAN!!” He began sobbing, completely ignoring the façade he usually wore around Eridan. Fef followed right after, both catching him in a tight hug as they cried. Eridan was lost. “Wwhat’s wwrong wwith you twwo?” He blinked looking at the two of them. “and wwhy does my head feel like someone’s been hittin me with a club for an hour…?” He grumbled. “hey—WWHERE’S MY CAPE!?”
Sollux and Feferi simply laughed as he mumbled irritated slurs to himself. “It’2 back at the hive, relax.” Sollux smiled, standing and picking Eridan up again. A bright violent spreading across his face. “WW-WWHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING!?” Sollux smiled at him. “Oh 2hut up. You’re the one who got your2elf hiigh on one of Gamzee’2 piie2.” He simply walked back to their hive, ignoring Eridan’s orders to put him down and that he could walk on his own.
Once at the hive Sollux finally let him down “Hey, II me22ed up your block whiile you were gone, 2o you’ll have two u2e miine untiill II’ve cleaned iit up.” He explained. Eridan glared. “wwhat the fuck Sol!? You don’t see me goin and fuckin up your block wwhile you’re gone!” He growled.
Sollux sighed, “Yeah yeah II know, you ju2t go two bed okay? You need the re2t.”
Eridan looked at him, seeing how stressed he looked. “Alright…” He sighed turning and making his way to Sollux’s block. Once inside the room Sollux rushed into Eridan’s block, beginning to clean the blood off the floor.

--A week later--

Eridan took a deep breath looking at Sollux. “Sol?”
Sollux answered, not looking away from his computer as he quickly typed. “What ii2 iit ED?”
“I wwas wwonderin…  Do you… maybe wwanna wwatch a movvie or somethin?” He asked nervously, a slight Violet dusting his cheeks.
Sollux smiled at him, nodding. “2ure ED~”
