Sam: *smiles talking to Miricals over Skype* so how's France?
Miricals: *smiles* it's so beautiful! I wish you could be here with us! 

Sam: *giggles hiding some marks on his arm* me to~ 

-a few days later- 

teacher: Sam, we think you need to start looking for a real career to aim for. 

Sam: Olympic swimming is a career. 

teacher: *shakes his head* no it's not. it's a dream for a fool to chase. 

Sam: *shoves past him* then I guess I'm a fool with no future. *walks home* 

Sam: *sits in the bath crying, running cold water* Miricals... I'm sorry... I know I promised you I wouldn't do this anymore... *makes a deep cut in his wrist* I'm so sorry... *takes a handful of random pills and swallows them* I'll always love you... *passes out* 

-about 20 minutes later- 

Karkat: *knocks on the door* Sam? you've been in the bath for a while, are you alright? .....*opens the door* Sam?-- *screams* IRES!!! 

Ires: *runs upstairs and screams* SAM! 

Karkat: *pulls him up out of the tub and wraps him in a blanket crying* 

Ires: *calls for an ambulance* 

Karkat: *whimpers rocking him in his arms* c-come on Sammy... *hick* it's time to take up now... *strokes his face* oh god why...

Ires: *sits beside him and hugs both of them crying* you are my sunshine... my only sunshine~ you make me happy when skies are gray..~ 

Karkat: you'll never know dear, how much we love you...~ 

both: so please don't take my sunshine away...~
